The final lesson of cake making, intermediate stage.
As you can probably guess from the green powder below, we are making green tea cake today =D

It's cake lessons again and today we are doing two cakes:
1.) Pistachio Slices (foam type cake)

Today we are making fruit mousse cakes. Personally, I have never liked mousse stuff its quite yucky to me as cream cakes are..but learning about cakes means learning ALL about em'. And silly me forgot to bring my phone out again, luckily YJ's at home and was about to go out too. *PHEW*

Finally have a chance to attend "Cake making intermediate stage"..that GH who joined me last year for beginners' stage is often busy. So now K, who has no experience in cake making is gonna try to be a 插班生 this time round. Pics are taken using K's Olympus cos I left my K800i at home T_T

In the final lesson, we are doing another indirect method - using Pate Fermente and Poolish method.

Today's lesson teaches another new concept of bread making:
Using master sponge and pate fermente(old dough).

It has been weeks since we had our last advance bread lesson. In lesson 2, we are doing:
1.) Hot water dough

Went to try out this restaurant that K has always wanted to - Hooked @ Railway Mall after a MJ session.

Went genting during last wkend. This time its peak season, we decided to take a risk of bookin hotel when we reach there. So coach was with Five Stars Travel.

Baked a pandan chiffon for mum and family last wkend. Luckily it didnt fail like my prev two attempts *up till now i suspect i forgot the baking powder*

Went down to KL at the cut throat price of 5 persons @ RM80..got so tired that we slacked at coffee beans and Ong suggested the best Dare i ever heard. He said to Beng who claimed he wld choose dare no matter what,"Beng, I dare you to flush your passport down the toilet bowl" =D

It was extremely cold on this day..i gather it must have fell to 15 degress *shivers* Look at the misty surroundings..

First thing was to check in. Since ong frequents Genting, he had some points accumulated on his card *get this card if u are planning to visit Genting often*. 10 points = 1 room at First World Hotel
